FARGO (KFGO-AM) -- A Fargo South High School employee who's described as kind, caring, trustworthy, and compassionate has received the Fargo School District's first ever "Support Staff of the Year" award.
Student Supervisor, Rob Wilson, received the award during a surprise assembly at South High.
Wilson is a retired Fargo Fire Captain and Assistant Chief who started working in the Fargo Public School District nearly four-years ago.
Wilson was selected for the honor based on testimony from many people who said he's a role model to many and is willing to go above and beyond his duties. Several people relayed stories of Wilson spending his own money to buy shoes and clothing for students in need.
