FARGO, ND (KFGO AM) -- It's back to the drawing board for a Fargo bar owner who wants to open up another bar next door and thought he could use his existing liquor license for both.
Dave Erickson, owner of the Bulldog Tap on 45th street south, was given permission by the city in late july to expand his current liquor license.
However, the city thought he was expanding the bulldog tap, not building a new pub.
Other area bar owners protested the earlier approval and the proposal was back before city commissioners last night.
The commission rescinded its July decision and will work with Erickson to try to come up with some kind of a solution in time for a projected St. Patricks Day opening date for Hennesey's Irish Pub.
