FARGO, ND (KFGO AM) -- Fargo Commissioners have denied an appeal by the owner of Santa Lucia after the business was fined for failing an alcohol compliance check.
Owner Maria Wilson contended mandatory city server training does not teach how to use calculators to check ages.
The city auditor says servers don't need to do math for Minnesota or North Dakota licenses, because they are marked differently for minors.
Wilson will have to pay a $750 fine because it was the restaurant's second failure in a year.
