BRECKENRIDGE, Minn, (KFGO AM) -- Breckenridge Police Chief Nate Harder says he's been busy returning stolen property to their owners.
The items were seized after he captured two men suspected of operating a burglary ring across Minnesota.
He says gold jewelry and other items, including credit cards were stolen from victims in the Morris, Minnesota area.
He says the jewelry was "heirloom" and had great sentimental value to the owners who were glad to get it back.
46-year old Richard Allen of Little Falls and 22-year old Matthew Dehncke of Paynesville have been charged with felony theft in Wilkin County.
Harder was off duty and at church several weeks ago when he caught the pair stealing equipment from a parked truck.
