FARGO (KFGO-AM) - Fargo police are searching for a number of suspects involved in a home invasion robbery. Lt. Joel Vettel says it happened around 12:30 pm Wednesday 5359 30th Avenue South.
“When officers arrived on scene, they did encounter one adult male victim who had an injury sustained to his head” Vettel said. “He was able to tell us that several people entered his apartment and pushed their way inside the door. At that point, they did demand money.”
The suspects drove away and were chased by friends of the victim. The vehicles crashed on 45th street near I-94. Some of the occupants fled on foot; the driver of one of the cars got away in a blue 2006 Pontiac G6 with ND license JTN-725.
Vettel says the assault is connected to a series of escalating incidents involving the same group of people. He says there's no indication that there's a direct threat to the public.
