SARTELL, MINNESOTA (WJON-AM) -- The family of Tom Bearson believes police will eventually find his killer. The NDSU freshman was killed in September. His body was found in a Moorhead R-V lot.
Bearson's father, Greg Bearson, says law enforcement is in contact with the family on a regular basis. "They've been absolutely fantastic and generous to our family. They're dedicated and committed to finding a resolution on this. We believe that they're going to. We've always been confident and we remain confident that at some point in time they will find out who ended our son's life", said Bearson.
The family has started a foundation that will honor Tom and keep his memory alive. Bearson says they wanted to give back some of the love and compassion they've received from so many people while they've been dealing with the tragedy.
