FARGO (KFGO-AM) - To say the Fargo-Moorhead area real estate market is hot would be an understatement, especially if you're looking to sell.
Ben Schroeder, President-elect of the F-M Area Association of Realtors, says it's definately a seller's market with demand continuing to outpace supply.
He says the market, strong for some time thanks to a robust local economy and low mortgage rates, really popped during April with about 1300 residential properties sold.
Homes in the $130,000 to $200,000 price range are the fastest sellers. Schroeder says it's not uncommon to see those sold in a matter of hours with multiple offers.
The average April sale price was up $20,000, to $198,000, compared to April, 2014.
