FERGUS FALLS, MN (KFGO-AM) -- A prosecutor says a Fergus Falls woman is expected to turn herself in soon on charges stemming from a wrong-way collision on I-94 near Fergus Falls on Mar. 16.
Jana Battern, 43, is accused of driving drunk when her car collided with car driven by a 23 year-old Coon Rapids man. The complaint says that man is blind as a result of injuries suffered in the crash. Battern suffered leg injuries.
An asst. Otter Tail County attorney says Battern's passenger told investigators that she showed up at his home an hour before the collision with a drink in her hand.
