FARGO (KFGO-AM) -- A special Christmas project is going to provide meals and presents for families living in Fargo-Moorhead area hotels.
The "Joy Project" aims to help families who are living in a hotel for a long period of time. Marisa Loerzel came up with the idea when she saw a school bus pull up to a hotel and realized that the children who got out, lived there. She then learned there are other families living in hotels too.
Joy Project plans to help families staying in three hotels. A visit from Santa Claus is also being arranged.
