FARGO (KFGO-AM) - Investigators with the Cass County Sheriff's office are looking for information about a dog that was seriously injured with multiple stab wounds.
Sergeant Dean Haaland says a citizen found the dog Sunday in a rural area near Horace. Haaland says a deputy brought the dog to the Red River Emergency Animal Clinic for treatment. He says investigators are following up on some leads.
"4 Luv of Dog Rescue" in Fargo says the dog was stabbed with an object 6-8 inches long. The dog, nicknamed “Wilford” is in stable condition, but his prognosis is guarded.
