FARGO (KFGO-AM) -- The head of the pharmacy program at NDSU is upset with supporters of the pharmacy question who marched in the school's homecoming parade last Friday.
They wore NDSU colors and carried banners that read "Bring Home NDSU Pharmacy School Graduates" and "Vote Yes on Measure 7."
Pharmacy Dean Charles Peterson says the actions of the group crossed the line of appropriate campaigning and professionalism. He says it was disturbing and deceiving.
Peterson says he's asked the university's legal office to write a cease and desist letter to Measure 7 supporters telling them to stop any activities related to their promotion of the ballot question that may be perceived as an endorsement of the issue by NDSU or the pharmacy program.
Measure 7 spokeswoman Amanda Godfread says political candidates wearing NDSU colors also marched in the parade and at least one other ballot measure had representatives in the homecoming parade.
