BUXTON, N.D. (KFGO-AM) -- The North Dakota Highway Patrol and Traill County Sheriff’s Office teamed up to flag down a semi driver Wednesday after noticing piglets falling out of the truck.
The animals were dropping out an opening in the undercarriage of the truck as it traveled down I-29. One dead pig was found near Buxton and other dead animals about every mile or so down the road.
About a dozen pigs died.
The truck was heading from Canada to Iowa.
