MOORHEAD (KFGO-AM) -- Two men have been charged with theft and criminal damage to property for recent thefts of heavy copper cable from American Crystal Sugar beet piling stations near Hitterdal, Sabin and Felton, Minnesota.
A warrant has been issued for Gordon Kiehl, 46, of the Twin Cities. Harry Folstrom, 57, of Naytahwaush, Minnesota is in jail in Park Rapids for a probation violation. They were identified after the Clay County Sheriff's Office released surveillance photographs from the crime scenes.
Crystal Sugar offered a $2,500 reward for information leading to convictions in the case. Whether that money wil be paid will be determined once the case is resolved in court.
