Semis collide near Valley City, one catches fire

VALLEY CITY, N.D. (KFGO-AM) -- A collision between two semis on I-94 east of Valley City ended with one truck catching fire and minor injuries to both drivers.

The highway patrol says a semi driven by a Dickinson man was following too closely and became distracted by a passing car. He ran into the back of the other rig, which was traveling at a slower speed.

The crash was reported just before 11am Thursday.
