MINOT, N.D. (AP) - A 15-year-old girl that was seriously injured when a tornado struck a worker camp in the western North Dakota oil patch on Memorial Day is expected to leave the hospital soon.

Ainslea Oliphant of Louisiana says she was visiting her aunt and uncle in Watford City Monday when what looked like a ``huge hailstorm'' started coming toward her. She says the last thing she remembers before being knocked unconscious is her aunt telling her that she loved her.

Oliphant says that she's in a lot of pain because of a broken eye socket and spots of bleeding on her brain.

Ainslea could be discharged as early as Sunday and will return to her grandparents' home in Minot for two weeks before returning to Louisiana.
