WEST FARGO (KFGO-AM) -- West Fargo is getting a new window manufacturing plant. MinnKota Windows is moving to the far western edge of West Fargo on Main Ave.
Company President Brad Bushaw says the manufacturer of vinyl windows and associated products has run out of space at its Fargo location. He says the facility at 4425 Main Ave. will provide 78,000 square feet of production room.
Construction is expected to last eight to nine months and the company plans to be in the new facility in the first quarter of 2015.
MinnKota employs about 50 people. Bushaw says he hopes to hire 10 to 15 more workers within the next two years.
MinnKota windows has dealers in 13 states and two Canadian provinces.
