FAIRMOUNT, ND. (KFGO AM) -- The boil water order remains in place for the small Richland County community of Fairmount.
The town's two wells failed Tuesday.
The mayor says there was a crack in the casing of one of the wells and that forced packing sand around the well into the city's water system.
There's been a temporary "fix" but again, residents are being asked to boil their water.
