WAHPETON, ND (KFGO-AM) - The coordinator of the search for missing North Dakota State College of Science student Andrew Sadek says they've followed up on as many as 50 tips from outside the Wahpeton area since early this week from as far away as Roberts County, South Dakota, Stutsman and Barnes Counties near Sadek's home and in Fargo.
Campus police sargent Steve Helgeson says any additional searches will depend on new information that may come in.
Helegson says they're relying on the public's help in finding Sadek. He says, "people tend to forget about it and with Mother's Day coming up, I really feel sorry for the family. We really want to find him safe and we need the public's help to do it."
Helgeson says the Bureau of Criminal Investigation is also involved, examining Sadek's laptop in the hope it may offer a clue to his disappearance a week ago.
