FARGO, ND. (KFGO AM) -- Families, faith leaders and others gathered in Fargo to remember those who lost their lives on the job.
They placed flowers next to flags, commemorating those who suffered injuries or illness on the job.
It was also a chance to have their voices heard by Congress to create safe jobs for everyone.
Local labor leaders say they'll fight for stronger protections for workers.
Last year, there were 41 work-related deaths in North Dakota.
North Dakota leads the nation in work-related deaths.
