WEST FARGO, ND. (KFGO AM) -- Bishop John Folda of Fargo helped break ground on a new Catholic elementary school in West Fargo.
The bishop says the diocese has been examining ways to meet the needs of a growing population around West Fargo, Horace and Wild Rice.
The new site, located at 2820 Bluestem Drive in West Fargo, is set to open to students in the fall of 2015.
Administrators estimate about 300 students will attend Trinity Elementary.
The school will have two classrooms for each grade, a full sized gym, media center, and two outdoor activity spaces.
The campus will also include the Holy Cross Catholic Church parish hall and administrative offices and a daily mass chapel to seat about 70 people.
