HORACE N.D. (KFGO-AM) -- A house fire on the northwest side of Horace late Sat. morning did considerable damage to the home in the Woodlawn development. No one was injured.
A neighbor says he heard sirens and quickly discovered a nearby home was on fire. Brent Nelson helped direct fire crews into the scene. Three fire departments shuttled water from Horace to the scene.
Nelson says one person was in the house when the fire started around 10 a.m. He says a firefighter who lives next store notified the resident that the house on fire.
Fire departments from Davenport, West Fargo, and Horace were called to the scene. Cass County deputies directed traffic. Smoke could be seen for several miles.
