FARGO, ND (KFGO AM) -- Voters in the Fargo School District head to the polls today to decide whether to let the school district keep its excess mill levy.
The vote is required because Fargo's mill levy is above the state mandated cap.
A law approved by the state legislature in 2009 requires school districts to hold a public vote by the end of next year to approve a mill levy above 110 mills.
Polls are open for the special election from 7:00 this morning until 8:00 tonight.
