FARGO (KFGO-AM) -- The National Weather Service says the possibility of significant flooding remains low in the Red River Valley.
A flood outlook released Thursday shows that minor to moderate flooding is expected along the river and its tributaries, which would likely not affect populated areas.
The weather service says the forecast for the next month indicates below normal temperatures and near to somewhat below normal precipitation, which should lead to a favorable melt.
The report says heavier springtime snows and or rains are still possible, but not as likely.
