WEST FARGO (KFGO-AM) -- Police have disclosed that head trauma was the likely cause of death for a six month-old boy who became unresponsive at a daycare on Mon. afternoon.
Owen Skodje of Fargo has died at Children's Hospital in Minneapolis.
Detective Tim Runcorn says West Fargo and Fargo police and Cass County Social Services are all part of the investigation. Runcorn says death by shaking is less of a possibility than first thought.
The baby attended an in-home daycare run by Darcy Anderson. She doesn't care for enough children to be licensed. She does have past misdemeanor and felony convictions not related to daycare.
