FARGO (KFGO-AM) - More fake money has shown up in Fargo. Police Lt. Joel Vettel says counterfeit 50's and 100's were passed over the weekend. He says the currency appears to have been made with a laser printer on paper that should be easy to spot. It's the work of the same person or group.
Counterfeit bills in various denominations turned up at stores and at banks throughout the F-M area in March and April.
Last month, a Fargo man was arrested for passing counterfeit bills at several Moorhead Restaurants. The man told police he bought the fake currency on-line.
