FARGO (KFGO-AM) -- Heavy rain from a thunderstorm flooded some fields northwest of Fargo and caused street flooding in parts of Fargo late Thurs. afternoon. Traffic signal lights were also out in parts of Moorhead. Police reported no significant weather-related problems.
The National Weather Service issued a Tornado Warnings for parts of Walsh County, ND and Marshall County, MN, but there was no confirmed touchdown. Walsh County Sheriiff Ron Jurgens said there were areas of the county that saw strong, gusty winds and brief downpours.
