MINOT, N.D. (AP) - A motorcycle club in Minot is opening a bar to support the club's charitable work.

Apathy Original Motorcycle Club acquired a former barbershop building between Minot and Burlington and obtained a county liquor license. Officials hope to have at least the headquarters portion of the building ready by June 27 when the club hosts its annual memorial ride to raise awareness of post-traumatic stress disorder and money for treatment.

Club President Jory Stevenson says the main focus is helping military veterans. The memorial ride is named for National Guard Staff Sgt. Joe Biel, who killed himself after suffering from PTSD after two tours of duty in Iraq.
