GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - A North Dakota man will spend 65 days in jail after admitting that he stole a number of packages from outside homes that had previously been delivered by a mail carrier.
The 23-year-old Leslie Jo Keplin has pleaded guilty to various charges including theft of property and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Authorities say the packages were stolen in a defined area in Grand Forks.
District Court Judge Jon Jensen sentenced Keplin to 365 days in jail, with 300 of them suspended. Keplin is in custody at the Grand Forks County Correctional Center.
Court records for the Grand Forks man do not list an attorney.
