MINOT, N.D. (AP) - Family members of a Minot woman who is in Nepal say she has finally contacted them following the latest earthquake in the Asian country.
Twenty-five-year-old Shauntae Delmar has been in Nepal as part of a mission trip she organized. The family finally heard from her Wednesday, after not being in contact since last Thursday.
Nepal was just beginning to rebuild from a devastating April 25 earthquake when it was hit by a magnitude-7.3 quake on Tuesday that killed dozens of people and injured thousands. Delmar arranged the mission trip following the first earthquake, to help in the cleanup and recovery.
