WARREN, MINN. (KFGO-AM) - A Devils Lake man could spend 30 years in prison after pleading guilty in the stabbing death of a man in his home in northwestern Minnesota in March.

In a plea agreement with the Marshall County Attorney, Ray Littlewolf pleaded guilty to manslaughter and felony theft in the death of Ronald Foss of rural Viking.

During his court appearance in Warren Tuesday, Littlewolf said he became angry after Foss made sexual advances to him after a night of drinking. The two had met earlier at a bus station in Grand Forks, and Foss invited him to his home. Littlewolf says the two fought when he attempted to leave. That's when he grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed Foss twice.

Littlewolf was arrested several days after the killing, in Devils Lake where he had driven in Foss' pickup.

His sentencing is set for June 16.
