ZAP, N.D. (AP) - A 23-year-old man from Zap is facing the possibility of life in prison for allegedly sexually assaulting two teenage girls.
Michael Kost has been charged with gross sexual imposition and sexual assault.
Court documents say a 14-year-old girl and 17-year-old girl told the Mercer County Sheriff's Department that they were at Kost's home on the night of April 28. Both girls said Kost fondled them. The 14-year-old said Kost also sexually assaulted her.
Both girls told police that they did not consent to Kost's actions.
Kost is out of custody and awaiting a preliminary hearing. He is due back in court May 27.
