FARGO (KFGO-AM) -- A distracted driving crackdown in Fargo in April resulted in 76 citations issued.
Police Sgt. Jim Kringlie says 48 of the citations were for distracted driving, which is the leading contributor to rear-end crashes in Fargo. The rest of the citations were for other offenses such as red light running, failing to stop, and speeding.
Officers worked the special detail on 8 separate days last month.
