ND House bans powdered alcohol

BISMARCK (KFGO-AM) - The North Dakota House has passed a bill banning the sale, purchase, and use of powdered alcohol.

Supporters say powdered alcohol is a relatively new product that's tough to legally regulate. Bismarck Republican Rep. Diane Larson says the issue can be reconsidered in two years if ways are found to regulate powdered alcohol.

The bill now goes back to the Senate.
