FARGO (KFGO-AM) -- If you live in Fargo and receive a letter from American Water Resources of North Dakota, the city wants you to know that its not affiliated with the company and is not endorsing its service.
The New Jersey-based company is offering water and sewer line service protection.
Public Works Services Manager Mark Williams says the mailings appear that they are coming from the city, when there's no direct connection.
He says the company offers insurance for water and sewer for the section of line that wouldn't be the responsibility of the city if there's a break.
