WEST FARGO (KFGO-AM) -- West Fargo Police are asking citizens who have surveillance cameras on their property to take part in a voluntary crime assistance program.
Citizens Electronic Eye geographically maps the location of all cameras that are registered. Police Chief Mike Reitan says if a crime occurs in a certain area, police would ask the citizen if they'd be willing to review or provide the video to see if there's any evidence on it.
Fargo recently launched a similar program called Safecam.
