MOORHEAD, Minn. (KFGO-AM) - An employee at a Moorhead hookah lounge has been charged with selling tobacco without a license. Lt. Tory Jacobson says the citation was issued by an undercover officer at "Hookah's on Main" at 819 Main Avenue.
“One of our officers, in plain clothes, did enter Hookah’s on Main and was able to purchase tobacco products from a worker there,” Jacobson said. “And recognizing that they do not have a license to sell, a citation was issued.”
The charge against Brandon Hofer of Fargo is a misdemeanor. A court appearance is scheduled in May.
Jacobson says the business can remain open, but the sale of tobacco products at Hookah’s is prohibited.
