NORTH BEND, OR (KFGO-AM) -- An inmate from the Lake Region Correctional Center in Devils Lake, N.D. who escaped from the jail earlier this month has been arrested in North Bend, Oregon.
Wesley Brown broke out of the jail on Mar. 13. The US Marshal's Service says Brown and correctional officer Rachel Chepulis, were traced to a hotel in nearby Coos Bay. They were arrested Wed. afternoon when they left a store in North Bend.
The 2015 Toyota Rav 4, owned by Chepulis, that the pair was traveling in, was recovered.
