FARGO (KFGO-AM) -- Two candidates for the NDSU student body are pushing for alcohol sales at university events at the Fargodome.
Robert Kringler, who's running for student body president and Aaron Weber, a candidate for student body vice-president, say the sale of alcohol during athletic events at the University of North Dakota and University of Minnesota have actually resulted in fewer drinking-related issues.
Kringler says heavy drinking before games is far too common and allowing liquor sales would encourage safer consumption habits.
