FARGO (KFGO-AM) - Spring officially arrives Friday but winter's not done yet.
Another clipper system is headed toward the northern Red River Valley. The National Weather Service says snow will track into northeast North Dakota and northwest Minnesota late Friday morning. A narrow band of heavier snow is expected that could affect travel. between 2 and 5 inches could fall within this narrow band in a very short time.
While the exact track is still a bit uncertain, the most likely path is along a line from Langdon to Grand Forks to Bemidji.
Looking ahead, a potentially stronger storm could impact the region Tuesday and Wednesday. Heavy snowfall accumulation and hazardous travel appear possible.
