MOORHEAD, Minn. (KFGO-AM) - A squad car video used as evidence in a federal lawsuit against two Moorhead, Minn. police officers has been obtained by KFGO News.
Marcus Hemsworth of Prior Lake, Minn. claims he was placed into handcuffs and then hit three times in the testicles by Moorhead Police Sgt. Toby Krone. The lawsuit claims Krone used "severe, excessive and unnecessary force" that resulted in severe pain, humiliation and emotional distress.
Police officer Brandon Desautel and the city of Moorhead are also defendants. Moorhead Police Chief Dave Ebinger is declining comment.
Hemsworth’s attorney, Zorislav Leyderman, says he wants a jury to decide the amount of damages his client is entitled to.
