MOORHEAD, Minn. (KFGO-AM) - An employee at a Moorhead assisted living facility is accused of stealing money and jewelry from elderly residents.
Clay County prosecutors say 20-year-old Lena Hilde entered a woman’s unlocked apartment at Eventide and stole $240. Court documents say Hilde was caught stealing from the same apartment a second time after Eventide installed a surveillance camera.
The complaint says Hilde admitted during a police interview that she stole property from additional Eventide residents; beginning in January, 2014.
Hilde is charged with four counts of felony burglary. Each charge has a maximum sentence of ten years in prison.
