MINOT, N.D. (AP) Anna Holen had 18 points and 11 rebounds to lead LaMoure-Litchville-Marion to a 58-44 win over Lakota-Edmore Thursday at the North Dakota Class B girls basketball tournament.
Holen was 9-for-11 from the free throw line in the first state tournament appearance for the Loboes. LLM (22-4) outscored Lakota-Edmore 38-26 in the second half.
Katrina Hoff had 13 points and Taylor Hebl 11 for LLM.
Fallyn Freije scored the first eight points of the game and finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds for Lakota-Edmore (22-3). Miranda Martinson added 15 points and seven rebounds.
LMM led 20-18 at the half. Lakota-Edmore's biggest lead was two points early in the first quarter.
LLM outrebounded Lakota-Edmore 31-26.
