BARNESVILLE, MN (KFGO-AM -- Firefighters were able to quickly put out a fire in a house on 6th St. SW Wed. afternoon.
Heavy smoke was coming from the home when the first firefighters arrived. A man in the house had climbed out onto the roof and he was brought to safety.
The fire started in the basement. The cause of the fire isn't known.
