MOORHEAD, Minn. (KFGO-AM) - Charges have been filed in connection with an October, 2013 crash that killed a man on U.S. Highway 75 south of Moorhead.
Clay County prosecutors have charged 29-year-old Robin Olson of Wheatland, ND with criminal vehicular homicide and criminal vehicular operation. Olson was the driver of a car that collided with a minivan; he and his two passengers were ejected.
One of the passengers, 25 year-old Justin Olson of Wheatland was dead at the scene. Another passenger, Allen Burcham of Fargo, had numerous injuries to his head, spine, brain and lungs. The driver of the van was not seriously hurt.
The complaint says robin Olson's blood-alcohol level was .015. If convicted, Olson faces up to 15 years in prison.
