GRAND FORKS (KFGO-AM) - Jody Hodgson, General Manager of Ralph Engelstad Arena believes it was a misinterpretation that led several UND students to believe they were kicked out of Saturday night's UND hockey game.
The students held up a large banner that called for the firing of University President Robert Kelley. Hodgson said there was a comment made by a security guard that the students mistook for notification that they were being asked to leave. Hodgson said that was not the intention even though the students thought they were being ejected.
The large banner that read "fire Kelley" was confiscated because it did not comply with REA policy.
