MOORHEAD, Minn. (KFGO-AM) - A California man and a man from Mexico are in the Clay County jail after authorities say nine pounds of methamphetamine was seized during a traffic stop near Moorhead.
Clay County Attorney Brian Melton tells KFGO News that a state trooper stopped the men's vehicle Wednesday on I-94. Melton says when the trooper detected marijuana, a drug dog was called to the scene. He says the dog helped find the meth, which was stashed under the vehicle's seats.
Melton says the estimated street value of the meth is around $400,000.
The men are each facing charges that include first-degree possession with intent to distribute.
A judge set bond for each man at $300,000.
