FARGO (KFGO-AM) - Some changes are planned for a busy travel route in downtown Fargo.
The Downtown Community Partnership has reviewed the summer construction project developed for the stretch of NP Avenue between University Drive and 10th Street North.
It calls for two lanes of traffic in one direction, and one lane with a bike patch in the other. Parking would be allowed on both sides of the street. City Traffic Engineer Jeremy Gorden says the new concept would seperate bikes from the cars by putting them on a partially elevated cycle track.
The City Commission is scheduled to review the plans a week from Monday.
