FARGO, ND (KFGO AM) -- The Fargo planning commission has approved a 148 acre housing and commercial development just off I-29 and 52nd avenue south.
Some living in nearby established neighborhoods say the development is too large, and doesn't follow what the city suggested should happen with undeveloped tracts of land.
60 acres will be set aside for business development.
The city commission still has final say.
It will consider the plan later this month or in early January.
Then construction would start next year and finish in 2016.
