FARGO (KFGO-AM) North Dakota Highway Patrol Captain Bryan Niewind says it was a first for him.
A Fed-Ex truck pulling two trailers lost part its load. A door on one of the trailers opened as the rig turned onto the I-94 tri-level in south Fargo one night last week, spilling a case of .22 shells.
Niewind says troopers and a private company scrambled to pick up the bullets that littered the roadway. There was no public safety concern. The driver was not cited.
