Thief River Falls, Minn. (KFGO-AM) - Retired Vikings and member of the NFL Hall of Fame, Chris Doleman was thrown from his snowmobile and may have suffered a mild concussion during the River Ride Saturday in Thief River Falls.
KFGO News was told the injury was not serious. The event was part of the 20th annual Minnesota Vikings Arctic Blast Snowmobile Rally that raises money for the Vikings Children's Fund.
Very little snow forced organizers to change plans for the weekend event, switching from a route between Thief River Falls and Red Lake Falls, to a shorter, 10 mile river run.
